Mayor Holden urges drivers to take caution with expected rains

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- Mayor-President Melvin "Kip" Holden wants East Baton Rouge motorists to take caution as they travel on local roadways over the weekend as potentially heavy rains are forecast.

The National Weather Service is warning that the atmosphere will be conducive for thunderstorms and potentially heavy rains through Sunday.

"We are urging motorists to take caution as they travel on our highways as there could be high water and flooding in some areas," the Mayor said.
